For more than twenty years Veerle Windels has been covering
the international fashion scene as a journalist.

She warms towards young design talent but has always followed the do's
and don'ts of the luxury business as well. Over the years she has interviewed a plethora of fashion designers, giving her insights and plenty of anecdotes on the business.

Veerle has written several books on fashion, including Young Belgian Fashion (2001) and ACT(e) on Tim Van Steenbergen (2010). A book on Scabal is in the making. She also teaches Fashion Today at the fashion department of the Ghent academy.
